On Thursday, October 25th at 1:00 PM, EDT, I’ll was sitting in on the Nora Firestone Show, where I discussed the fallout from the Brett Kavanaugh nomination, how Democrats are trying to change the rules for elections they cannot otherwise win, our national sovereignty and the caravan of illegal immigrants heading towards our southern borders, and predictions of the 2018 mid-term elections, less than two weeks away.

This show appeared as a “Facebook live” broadcast.

An Alien Invasion Bordering on the Insane

An Alien Invasion Bordering on the Insane

The timing couldn’t be more suspicious- a growing number of illegal aliens from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador making its way through Mexico, heading for the U.S. border and destined to arrive in time for the 2018 mid-term election.

As of this writing, the original group of 200 has swelled to more than 7,000, while yet another group of more than 1,000 has left Honduras making the same trek as their predecessors. Add all of this to the 13,000 Central Americans who have already been arrested this year while attempting to illegally enter the United States, and it has become obvious that the United States is being invaded by those who are seeking to acquire the largesse that only comes from American taxpayers, who will ultimately foot the bill for housing, medical care, food stamps and other such welfare programs…

…and the Democrats couldn’t be more delighted.

Not that Democrats give a flying flip about the welfare of these illegal entrants, nor the human tragedy unfolding south of our border with Mexico. To Democrats, these criminal trespassers offer the promise of voting power that they cannot otherwise get from legal immigrants or native-born Americans. This is precisely why they won’t lift a finger to enact immigration reform or appropriate funding to enhance border security.

Even more pernicious is the fact that this invasion is being funded by those who seek to destroy the national sovereignty of the United States by their advocacy of open borders. How else can so many thousands be sustained in their quest to breach our borders and avail themselves of our generosity here in the United States?

Thanks to George Soros and the Open Society Foundation that he started years ago, this mob of alien invaders are being fed, watered, sheltered and housed as they make their way north, and the mainstream media is all aboard with this initiative to redefine this illegal alien invasion into a “humanitarian crisis” playing the requisite guilt card on gullible Americans.

Meanwhile, President Trump is doing all he can to stop this invasion, promising to use the U.S. military, if necessary, to prevent this massive trespass and by requesting more money to fund the construction of a border wall to stop such illegal trafficking that goes part and parcel with this border breach…and what does he get for all these efforts to protect our national sovereignty?  The accusation of anti-Hispanic racism, that’s what.

It’s the same old, same old from Democrats who are all-too-willing to play the race card whenever they can’t win an argument on its own merits. Never mind the fact that advocating open borders, well, borders on the insane. Democrats would sooner lead the country towards its own destruction than to serve the interests of the American people, all in an effort to seize political power away from their opponents.

So, the ultimate question facing the American voters in this mid-term election of 2018 comes down to this…

…are we stupid enough to turn power over to those who seek our own national demise?

Well, are we?

Predictions Predicated on Prevarication in a Fantasy World of Wishful Thinking

Predictions Predicated on Prevarication in a Fantasy World of Wishful Thinking

Three weeks from today, on 7 November 2018, Americans will wake up to find that the mainstream media and all of the so-called “experts” got it all wrong, once again.

For many months, we have been bombarded with prognostications that the House of Representatives will flip to Democrat control, and that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) will once again resume her position as Speaker of the House.

Don’t believe it…not even for a second.

The prediction of a House overturn is largely based in wishful thinking on the part of pundits and also on historical precedence that, in a mid-term election year, the party which holds the White House will lose enough seats to flip the House (and sometimes the Senate) to the party in opposition.

Remember it was these same pundits who told us there was absolutely no way that then-candidate Donald Trump could garner enough electoral votes to win the White House in the face of an overwhelming onslaught by Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton. At one point, they even said Trump’s quest for the Republican nomination was something short of a farcical stunt not to be taken seriously on its face. Time and time, again, Trump defied the experts and won primary after primary, caucus after caucus, and still they refused to take him seriously.

But then, the unthinkable happened and “the Donald” won it all, sending pollsters and pundits alike into a furious frenzy for his having proved them all wrong. Since nothing can infuriate an “expert” like proving the expert wrong, that in and of itself goes a long way into explaining why they have been calling into question the legitimacy of his election, ever since.

In the two years since the President was elected, the economy has improved immensely by any and all measures, the threat of war on the Korean peninsula has largely been abated, two Supreme Court justices have been seated, ISIS has been largely destroyed and the most unpopular aspect of ObamaCare (the individual mandate) has been eliminated. Personal and individual income tax rates have been reduced, scores of restrictive regulations have been removed and have thus spurred business activity and hiring levels to all-time highs, with unemployment hitting record lows, in the process. Just because the media is fixated on the fiction of Russian collusion and doesn’t want to report on all of the many positives which have taken place in the wake of Trump’s election and presidency, doesn’t mean that the voting public is not fully aware that Trump’s presidency has largely improved their lots in life. None of these accomplishments, though promised by the new President during his campaign, were ever thought to be possible, and yet no one can reasonably deny the reality that they have indeed taken place.

Throw in the despicable way Judge Brett Kavanaugh was treated by Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Oversight Committee, and the promise of House Democrats to launch impeachment proceedings against both he and the President, should they regain majority status in the House of Representatives, and we are supposed to believe that the voting public will put these clowns back in power?

Yeah, right…

Democrat Designs- When You Can’t Win, Change the Rules

Democrat Designs- When You Can’t Win, Change the Rules

As any Little Leaguer knows, win or lose after the game, you shake hands (or “high five”) with the opposing teammates, and say, “Good game.”

It’s the ultimate expression of good sportsmanship that somehow got lost on Democrat politicians who find themselves on the losing end of an election.

Cases in point:

  • Hillary Clinton…enough said…In an upset, she lost big (in the electoral college) to a first-time candidate who all of the “experts” said would go down to defeat. Rather than accept the results of the election, congratulate the winner and call for national unity as so many of her predecessors have done, she writes a book, “What Happened…”, and goes on the lecture circuit blaming practically everyone else for her loss and demanding an end to the Electoral College that has been in place since the beginnings of the republic. Not surprisingly, Democrats far and wide have jumped on this bandwagon, as well.
  • Donald Trump. His stunning victory prompted members of the Obama Administration to use a fake dossier paid for by the Clinton campaign to launch a bogus investigation into Russian collusion, all in an effort to besmirch Trump’s unlikely victory and take down a duly-elected president or, at very least, de-legitimize his presidency. If that were not enough the former President, Barack Obama, and his second Secretary of State, John Kerry, travel the world meeting with foreign officials all in an effort to undermine the newly-elected President and subvert his foreign policy. Domestically, Obama launched an organized resistance movement whose tentacles reach far into the “deep state” and into the halls of Congress, itself. This has never been done in the history of a United States which heretofore prided itself on the smooth and peaceful transition of power whenever an opposing party won the White House.
  • Supreme Court. After a bitter and contentious Judiciary Committee fight (where Democrat Senators vowed to do all they could to prevent President Donald Trump from successfully nominating his second Associate Justice to the Supreme Court), they used those hearings to try and destroy the reputation of a man who quite possibly may be the most qualified nominee, ever. To hedge their bets against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, they spent two months sitting on an unsubstantiated and salacious claim that Kavanaugh attempted to sexually assault a teenager thirty-six years ago, when both he and his accuser were in high school. When it became apparent that none of the people she claimed to have first-hand knowledge of the alleged assault could corroborate her story, they then solicited other claims of sexual misdeeds from his college years, each claim successively even more ridiculous than the prior. That failing, they insisted upon yet another FBI investigation into the claims which ultimately failed to show any collaborating evidence. Then, they attempted to label the FBI investigation upon which they insisted, a “whitewash” and a “sham.”. Once Kavanaugh’s nomination was approved by the Senate, they immediately claimed that he will forever have an asterisk by his name and that his seat on the high court be deemed “illegitimate,” calling to mind the asterisk they put on President George W. Bush’s narrow victory over Al Gore in the 2000 presidential election. They have also promised to launch more hearings on the allegations against Kavanaugh, and seek his impeachment, if they win control of the House of Representatives and Jerry Nadler (D-NY) seizes the chairmanship of the House Judiciary Committee.

Now, disaffected Democrats are calling for gradually expanding the number of seats on the Supreme Court to…get this…nineteen so as to dilute the philosophical shift towards a more constructionist direction. It’s not the first time Democrats have sought to pack the Supreme Court when they don’t get their way. President Franklin Roosevelt attempted to do the same when in 1937, the Supreme Court ruled against certain elements of his National Recovery Act. His brazen attempt to suddenly add six more seats to the Supreme Court ultimately failed, but the attempt was made, all the same.

It has been said that Democrats don’t know how to behave when they lose an election, just as Republicans don’t know how to act when they win an election. This maxim has taken on a life of its own, when losing Democrats seek to undo the results of an election when their candidate comes up short…time now to launch altogether new and divisive “witch hunts,” as if the ones currently in play are not despicable enough.

The message in all of this is quite clear. When you can’t win, change the rules.

The one consolation, if there is any, is that their bad behavior has netted one positive result for Republicans and, specifically, conservatives.  It seems to be the case that the anti-Trump/NeverTrump Republicans are a dying breed, for nothing can unify a divided G.O.P. like a nasty fight over a judicial nomination. With the passing of John McCain (R-AZ), the pending retirements of Jeff Flake (R-AZ) and Bob Corker (R-TN) and the circling of Republican wagons over Kavanaugh’s nomination, Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) excepted, those remaining Republicans who once opposed Trump are rapidly coming to the conclusion that the President is “their guy,” after all…

…and given the excesses of the Democrats in Congress, and the extremes to which many of their supporters seek to cause mayhem, the anticipated “blue wave” will barely register a ripple and may, in fact, become a Republican “rip current” taking Democrat designs out to sea.

Election 2018 cannot happen soon enough.

In the Autumn of the Year(s), October Beckons

In the Autumn of the Year(s), October Beckons

When it comes to politics in an election year, no month can bring out the “crazies” like October. Perhaps it is sheer irony that the autumnal month of deciduous reds, yellows and oranges ends with Hallowe’en- a night of fright when the costumed ghosts and skeletons of our youth roam the streets in search of treats.

It has become practically cliché that an “October surprise” is in the offing- that sudden, unexpected and world-shaking revelation that can tip a political campaign on its heels and cause all kinds of consternation in the body politic. We never seem to see it coming, are always stunned at the content of its unfolding and then, with hindsight, pretend that we knew what was going to happen, all along.

Just as we can be sure that somewhere within the clandestine closets of congressional corruption, a burgeoning bulletin bides its time, awaiting the exact moment when its revelation can prove most damaging. Democrats have long made the “October surprise” something of an art form, most likely because the popularity of their stances on issues leaves much to be desired in their own right.

The eleventh-hour revelation of Christine Blasey Ford’s specious claim against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, which erupted just as the Senate had concluded its advice and consent hearings and was proceeding towards a committee vote, was not dissimilar to an “October Surprise.” The fact that it came a month earlier than usual is beside the point.

Rest assured, though, that Democrats have a loaded arsenal of “October Surprises” just waiting for opportune moments to detonate in a well-timed series of planned executions- whether these are intended to further delay the vote on Kavanaugh’s nomination, or to ensure a takeover of the House of Representatives.

Let’s face it. When it comes to fair play, Democrats have no soul and absolutely no sense of right and wrong. Whatever it takes to gain and retain power is fair game to them and, if an honorable man like Judge Kavanaugh is caught up in the maelstrom and his family is destroyed in the process, that’s okay so long as it delivers the intended, infernal results they seek.

What the Democrats lack in altruism, the Republicans just as surely lack in determination and resolve. In fact, the way all-too-many Republicans react to the most nefarious of Democratic tricks, it might be easily argued that their elephantine mascot should be replaced with a spineless jellyfish. In their Quixote-like quest to show sensitivity and understanding, it’s just as predictable that they will be bowled over by Democrats who can count on Republican vacillation- whether it is funding for a border wall, or standing by their President’s selection for the Supreme Court.

Here is a prediction:

Judge Brett Kavanaugh, in the end, will be confirmed…but only by a smidgen in the Senate, with Vice President Mike Pence breaking the tie…and Republicans will then retain their majority in both houses of Congress…

Now IF (and it’s a big “if”) this is wrong, and the Democrats are successful in either taking him down (with the help of two RINOs) or stalling the vote on Kavanaugh until after the mid-term elections, then the Republicans will lose BOTH houses of Congress, the Democrats in the House will vote to impeach President Trump, and the Senate will finish the job (with the help of the anti-Trump/NeverTrump Republicans). Then, this will usher in the ultimate downfall of the United States, which will become a weak socialist state, our wealth will end up being sent overseas, and we will cease being an independent nation by the 2024 Election.

I say this because if he is not confirmed, it will be more because of Republican weakness and spinelessness, than Democrat treachery, and large parts of the Republican base will not reward spinelessness and weakness with further support.

With Republican caving to (count ‘em) yet a seventh FBI investigation of Judge Kavanaugh, it is all because the anti-Trump/NeverTrump ne’er-do-well and so-called Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, one Jeff Flake (R-AZ), got his crooked nose out of joint when accosted by a trio of feminist wackos in a “restricted” elevator. Then, the oh-so-appropriately-named Flake had the hit put on him by his Democrat friend in the Senate Chris Coons (D-DE), who got Flake to change his “yes” to a qualified “yes,” stipulating that the FBI launch a week-long investigation into Ford’s accusation, which essentially gave the Democrats more time to dig up more dirt. The next day, Flake stood beside Coon on stage in New York City, and bragged that he would welcome any and all to join him in an elevator car, anytime. He’s already made up his feeble mind to vote against Kavanaugh- if for no other reason than to stick a knife in Trump, yet again.

So, it will come down to whether Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) are real Republicans, or merely Democrats in drag. The charges made against Kavanaugh have essentially become a mere sidecar to the main issue of whether or not President Trump will get a second pick to the Supreme Court, for so long as he remains President.

With roughly half of the American voters voting for Hillary Clinton and roughly half of the American voters voting for President Trump in the 2016 election, few minds remain to be made up as to Kavanaugh’s supposed guilt or innocence.

For that matter, half of the American voters are in complete denial about the many real crimes that Hillary has committed over the years, and this same half of the electorate also believe that Donald Trump is a sexual predator who has incestuous feelings towards his daughter, Ivanka. Sane Americans know very well that these voters are completely wrong on both counts, and it doesn’t take an FBI investigation to prove them wrong, either.

Dr. Ford’s allegations are so full of holes that they should never have been presented to the Senate Judiciary Committee in the first place. Without a certain date, time, location or corroborative witnesses attesting to her claim- a claim about something which supposedly took place three dozen years ago, what can the FBI investigate after all?

Any reasonable observer can say with absolute certainty that Dr. Ford is lying through her teeth (just as she lied about a “fear of flying”, and using a cell phone following the 1982 supposed assault) and that these allegations are completely without merit. That said, half of the people out there will believe her, regardless, just as they believe what they believe about Hillary and Trump.

The fact that Trump made this nomination is REALLY what this whole mess is all about, and Judge Kavanaugh is having to pay the price in a way he never should have had to do, in any society that prides itself on due process.

Assuming that the news cycle for new and baseless allegations against Kavanaugh last about four to seven days, we can roughly estimate that true-to-form Democrats already have approximately seven or eight women waiting in the wings with their own fanciful allegations- just long enough to tie up the nominating process through the mid-term elections.

So, it really comes down as to whether or not Republicans can “grow a set” and proceed with a vote, before they cede the rest of their tenuous power to their opponents across the aisle, doesn’t it?

In the Autumn of the year (and in the Autumn of our years), October beckons with salacious surprises and scandalous sorties in a world gone mad with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Trick or treat? You decide…
