Following the Conventions, the Race is On for the Presidency of the United States

Now that the Democrat and Republican nominations are formalized, and their respective conventions have come to a close, Americans are starting to pay closer attention to the presidential elections which are less than nine short weeks away.

Exactly sixty days from today, Americans will be deciding who will lead this nation through the years 2021 through 2024, when we will be saddled with the next presidential election, once again. If sixty days of suffering through endless campaign commercials, the cacophony of commentators posing as journalists, and the never-ending litany of “scientific polling” which predict little more than wishful thinking on the part of pollsters- if that seems like an eternity, give a thought to sixty days before today.

Sixty days ago, it was July 4th, 2020- the two hundred forty-third Anniversary of our nation’s founding. Perhaps, you were venturing out into the world- masks at the ready- to celebrate the nation’s birthday by firing up the patio grill, placing the stars and stripes outside your doorstep and getting ready to watch the fireworks on your television. In some small towns across the fruited plains, you might have been preparing to watch or participate in the few Independence Day parades still taking place in our quasi-quarantined, semi-sequestered nation. As we listened to the sitting President give one of his most effective and beautifully-constructed speeches at the foot of Mount Rushmore, followed by a magnificent fireworks display over the enormous sculptures of Presidents Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt in South Dakota, we were reminded of an America we knew before the Chinese pandemic- an America which celebrated its freedom and independence as something to be proud of, something to be cherished, something for which we owe much to those who gave their lives, so that this nation might live.

To many of us, how we spent and what we did on this most unusual July 4th, seems like it was merely a fortnight ago, and yet our calendars tell us that sixty days have passed, since.

So, the sixty days remaining in this year’s quadrennial exercise in presidential politics will pass with the same velocity that the preceding sixty days have passed, but will this passage of time put a final end to this year’s presidential campaign?

Not hardly- given the fact that the 2016 presidential campaign didn’t really end with President Trump’s election. No, the Democrats and the media saw to it that that election would be re-litigated, on a daily basis, ever since the night of November the 8th, 2016.

First, we were told that it was the Russians who interfered with our election and caused Trump to be elected against the wishes of the American people. Three sweltering years, and $40 million dollars later, we learned that there was absolutely no merit to such an outrageous claim. Then, we were told that the President tried to use the power of his office to leverage the newly-elected Ukrainian president, in terms of financial and military assistance to that government, in exchange for dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, in a July 2019 phone call. For that whopper, the Democrats moved forward with their impeachment plans- three years in the making.

Once again, the Democrats ended up being smeared by their own baseless allegations, when it was revealed that Joe Biden’s son was paid millions of dollars by a Ukrainian energy company, to serve on their board of directors, for no reason other than the identity of his father. The hefty payments continued right up until the younger Biden resigned from his lucrative position- the day before his father announced his candidacy for President.

Now, they have turned their tactics into blaming the President for arrival of a pandemic which has cost more than 180,000 American lives, despite the fact that millions of American lives were saved by the President’s early actions to shut down flights from China, and later Europe, when these very same Democrats chided such actions as racist and xenophobic.

Never doubt the ability of Democrats to revise history- both recent and not-so-recent- just as long as it serves their own partisan interests. The same goes as well for their blaming the violence and destruction taking place in cities across America on Trump, where Democrat governors and mayors aid and abet this same violence with little if any resistance, or make an effort to stop, or even quell, this violence.

Yes, it’s true- Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media will stop at nothing to end Trump’s presidency- even if doing so costs many lives, destroys businesses, and ravages communities, alike.

Truth be told, this unrest began long before George Floyd’s death at the hands of Minneapolis police, long before Donald Trump’s presidency, and all the way back to the first term of Barack Obama’s presidency. It was Obama who set off the war on cops- from Black Lives Matter, whose aim is to usher in a communist insurgency, to Antifa, whose goal is to unleash widespread anarchy in the streets of our nation.

Yet, all we hear is that the nation’s unrest is what we see in “Donald Trump’s America,” as if all of this is due to the President’s divisive rhetoric, and is being stoked by Trump just to scare Americans into re-electing the nation’s forty-fifth President.

Only this week have some Democrats begun to speak out against this violence, when throughout the entirety of their own Democrat National Convention, nary a word was spoken to condemn the looting, destruction, assaults and even murder which has been unleashed on our cities, large and small. Yet, even in this condemnation, Democrats can’t resist the temptation to turn reality 180 degrees on its head- blaming all of the violence on right-wing extremists who, at the encouragement of Trump, are perpetrating the violence as a means to scare us into re-electing him.

Well there are liars, there are damned liars, and then there are Democrats, who have taken prevarication to an all-time low, and are helped by willing accomplices in the media who have made common cause with Democrats to defeat Trump in November.

They are even screwing around with how we cast ballots, with some states mailing out millions of unsolicited ballots to names and addresses, many of whom are known to be inaccurate and unreliable, and which provide no means of ensuring ballot legitimacy. This is not to be confused with absentee balloting, which must be specifically requested by duly registered voters in advance of an election, and with which voter eligibility is pre-determined before the absentee ballot is sent.

Moreover, a full third of our nation’s voters will begin casting ballots in early and mid-September, before the first presidential debate even takes place at month’s end.

Speaking of debates, the moderators for the three presidential debates, and the lone vice-presidential debate, were announced this week and they all share one common trait- they all hate President Trump and will spend their respective evenings fact-checking the President and blunting any and all criticism of Biden and his running mate.

So, Donald Trump and Mike Pence will be debating the moderators as well as their nominal opponents, and post-debate coverage will score their own respective performances as such- while exaggerating the respective performances and effectiveness of their Democrat opponents.

This isn’t so much a prediction as much as much as it is a certainty. Write it down and hold me to it, if you like, but rest assured that this cake is already baked, and frosted, too.

Hillary Clinton recently said that, under no circumstances, should Biden concede the election regardless of outcome. What a glaring admission from the ultimate DC insider!  This is their plan- to cast fear, uncertainty, and doubt into our presidential election, so as to further engulf the nation into post-election discord and further division.

Prognosticators are even predicting that this year’s election will portend what they have described as a “red mirage,” where Trump appears to gain an electoral victory on election night, only to be reversed with the discovery of millions of ballots, well after the fact. Some “blue” states, like California, are even making allowances for mailed-in ballots containing postmarks weeks after November 3rd. In other words, Democrats are already planning to overturn the results of the election in ways that heretofore seemed unimaginable even four years ago.

As we said, this year’s Presidential Election won’t be over on election night.

Former Vice President and Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden even promised that violence in our streets will continue with Trump’s re-election, thereby unwittingly revealing what is really behind this unrest, and it goes part and parcel with the fact that it is the Democrats who are encouraging this unrest.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, tells us all we need to know about the real issues surrounding this election.

What is not so obvious, but nevertheless is absolutely true, is that this year’s presidential election will also be a cognitive intelligence test for America’s electorate… that is to say, “Are we stupid enough to elect Joe Biden president?”

Well, are we?

Stay tuned…
