(about the author- A native of Richmond, Virginia, Drew Nickell has studied national politics since the age of 10. With a concentration in the history, jurisprudence and government of United States and of Great Britain (having studied these in both countries), he earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Journalism from James Madison University. Drew’s numerous op-ed articles have been published in the Baltimore Sun, the Washington Post, the Richmond Times-Dispatch and the (now defunct) Richmond News-Leader.
